L.I.N.K.S. is a FREE, fun, and interactive workshop all about the Marine Corps lifestyle for anyone new to the military community, new to Hawaii, or want to learn more about the Marine Corps lifestyle and what it has to offer you. You will learn about resources available to you on and off base, explore the Marine Corps culture, hear from financial experts about military pay, get a chance to connect with other participants, and more! Refreshments will be provided.

A Family Care Plan is an essential part of military readiness as it provides care for those who depend on their Marine. This class explains the significance of a Family Care Plan, why it's important to update it, what items should be included, and resources that are available to assist in preparing a plan. having a Family Care Plan in place helps Marines focus on their job and mission during deployments, mobilization, training, or other times when duty calls.

Partnering with Marine Corps Volunteers is a mutually beneficial way of achieving goals and objectives. This class is designed to assist companies in developing the tools necessary to engage Marine Corps Volunteers in a way that is ethical, proper, and mutually beneficial. It will educate accepting officials (millitary or civilian) about volunteerism and their responsibilities while working with Marine Corps Volunteers.
Following Baby & Me LINKS, Marisa Keeler from the Personal Finance Management Program will speak more about raising financially fit dependents. This is a time to get more information and ask questions about aspects of the Pay & Entitlements section of the LINKS workshop. This is the perfect time to get your financial questions about your family answered by an expert!
This event is free and kid-friendly. Attendance is not required by LINKS participants. You do not need to participation in LINKS to attend.

FOCUS will join Marine Corps Family Team Building for a modern-day exploration of various philosophies and concepts that will help participants identify their personal response. This class will encourage military members and their families maintain a positive focus and be engaged in their homes, at work, in their communities. The class will stress self-advocacy, power of choice, resiliency, and encourage participants to think differently about the impacts they have on any situation.

Marine Corps Family Team Building and Behavioral Health are partnering for this valuable workshop. The challenges of a Marine Corps lifestyle can be exciting buy stressful. While a certain level of stress is beneficial and can stimulate individuals to perform, too much stress can impair performance and injure one's emotional and physical health. Basic Stress Management provides an overview of stress, identifies symptoms of and strategies for managing stress, and highlights available resources. Participants leave with a develop Individual Action Plan for managing stress as well as successful strategies for improving personal well-being and personal relationships with others.

Communicating across generations is essential in today's connected world. Understanding how various generations communicate and behave can be key to success in reaching a common goal. Bridging the Generation Gap shows participants the unique characteristics of the many generations that exist today providing a foundation to enable improved communication across generations through increased knowledge of generational characteristics, influences, and priorities.
